About Zane

There is nothing like walking out on stage for the first time, feeling the spotlight warm your face, and hearing the applause swell during curtain call. Theatre has been a constant in my life for the past ten years, starting in a small church garage in Conway, Arkansas. Looking back, it’s deeply rewarding to see how far my journey has taken me.

As an artist, I thrive on creating characters and stories that span from comedy to drama. Opening a script for the first time feels like unlocking a treasure chest of possibilities, each role offering new ways to build a character from the inside out. I cherish the long hours in the rehearsal room, leaving myself at the door so I can fully inhabit the character. I love the transformation of tech week — when lighting, sound, costumes, and performance unite to bring a production to life — and the electricity of opening night when we finally share our story with the audience.

My love for theatre extends beyond the stage. I’ve worked in acting, directing, stage management, run crew, and many more. Each role has deepened my understanding of storytelling. These experiences have shaped me into a more thoughtful and versatile performer, one who appreciates the artistry and collaboration behind every production.

For me, theatre is more than performance — it is a gift. I am grateful for the opportunity to offer audiences a space to escape the demands of daily life and immerse themselves in another world. I am thankful to live in a world where theatre exists, and I hope to keep telling stories that inspire, connect, and move people for years to come.
